My 4lb havanese dog fell off the couch. She has since been limping around. I don’t think she has broken her leg b/c she isn’t crying anymore but I want to give her something for the pain. I have 50mg tramadol that was given to my two 100lb labs. How much would be appropriate for her? I can’t seem to find the dosage amount online. Thanks
I just want the dosage please? Thanks
thanks she was fine without the tramadol. I do take my dogs to the vet more than regularly. I was just trying to ease her pain a bit. But she is fine and better today!

I wouldnt give him any.. Never share perscriptions between dogs.. Keep an eye on him.. If he is still limping by tomorrow, call a vet and make an appointment to get an xray done to be sure there is no fracture..

Take her to a vet! It’s just the appropriate thing to do even if it’s expensive.

Call your vet about the injury and the dosage. Its insane to risk your dog’s health because you want to play “vet” yourself.

The dosage can only be determined by a veterinarian- giving your dogs medication without the advice of a veterinarian is dangerous to your dog, and can make situations worse, not better.

You do NOT give Tramadol to ANY dog unless it has been specifically prescribed by a vet for that dog…Tramadol is NOT to be used for just any reason in any dog..it MUST only be used upon strict direction & regulation from a vet!!!
