can you take these 2 together. I have a back injury and my doctor prescribed ultrams for the time being until I get into a pain specialist. The ultram is not helping but I don’t want to take more than prescribed. Can I take Naproxen? My pharmacy is closed so I cannot call them tonight.

One Response to “Can Ultram and Naproxen be taken together?”

No, don’t take them together. Take either the prescribed dose of the Ultram OR take the recommended dose of Naproxen…..not both.
If you are taking 50 mgs. of Ultram, call your doctor (they can be reached easily after hours–just call the office and the answering service will have the doctor call you back) to see if you can take 2 Ultram. 100 mgs. can be prescribed for severe pain—but please do NOT do this without talking to your doctor first.
