I know the Excedrin Migraine says I can only take one dose of it a day but I still have a migraine pretty bad and I was wondering if I can take my Fioricet to see if that will relieve some of the pain, or will it cause an overdose of some kind.

I am 16 weeks pregnant and take tramadol. Yes it is Dr prescribed. My ob said it was fine to take but not that much daily. My ob looked online and said that the only birth defects found were when animals small animals like mice and rats were given toxic human doses. He also said that like every single medication is a Category c because they don’t test on pregnant women. I know everybody’s dr is different and some say only Tylenol others say nothing. I figure its safe since I don’t take toxic dose. Category C meds and D meds are supposed to be taken if the pros outway the cons. Anybody know more about this topic and or have experience?

I had a script from the doc for three months – will I have trouble when the script runs out?
It doesn’t really work anymore, but I still took it as prescribed, and I am now worried about withdraw.
I prefer not to take it anymore (insurance ran out)

I don’t understand. When my doctor prescribed me Tramadol for my lower back pain, he told me it wasn’t a narcotic. (I was expecting him to give me vicodin or percocet so I was a bit disappointed. I don’t trust any drug for pain except for narcotics to help me.)

Then when I ended up giving the Tramadol/Ultram a shot, it feels exactly like a narcotic. Now, I always do research on drugs before I take them because i’m always cautious and feel the need to be secure before I do anything. I read it’s about 1/6000th of Morphine.

What the hell? It feels exactly like a Vicodin to me. Can anyone explain why it’s not a narcotic, and why it’s even legal to order from online without a script? (My friend did it)

I have read in many places that since Tramadol is an opiod and not an narcotic that it will not show up? Again, it’s a 5 panel test…

Im going to the doctor tomorrow about my migrains. I went to s nurologist and he put me on topamax but I want something as a back up. Is fioricet with codeine good? And what I mean by good is it better than 222 pills? I think everyones had those. They are pretty lame. And does anyone know if the fioricet with codeine gives you the euforia feeling?? Thankx

Kim

I recently found 2 pills on my carpet labled “Plava 616″ and of course was curious and looked them up online only to discover they are pain killers by the name of tramadol or ultram. 4 weeks later (tonight) I found 2 more pills on top of my fridge. I really need to know if this is a pain killer that is typically used by heroine addicts who are on methodone treatment. I have not been involved at all but my g/f is on methodone but denies any reference to these pills. The internet is a wonderful thing and I don’t want to blame her but there is a tie between these pain killers and other opiates. Thank you to anyone that can help.
